Secrets Lie

The clearest blue of the ebb and flow, Resceding shoreline made of darkest sands. Collected in a glass, poured through a sieve Of brass, golden and subdued. Through the dew collected On shoots of grass. I see time immemorial, Deepest blue It sheds its secrets. Alabaster skin tarnished by the days Your eyes divulge pain of ages past The fasting of a soul Unnourished, unfulfilled, seemingly undeserved A flurry of snow coatsthe bridge Between the mundane and the unknown To cross is to discover what will never be Undaunted the soul journeys ever onward. The fiercest wind blows through the other side These sands they cradle and coddle. A memory of fires long burnt out The sleeping coals of intuition lie waiting A catalyst rolls in with the tide Assuring, alluring. Will you resist what you feel? Will you be as time ever changing? The waves of wisdom washing away the shame.
